John Hisserich

Dr. John C. Hisserich, of Los Angeles, was appointed to the Inspection and Maintenance Review Committee on November 6, 2003. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Health Affairs at the University of Southern California where he has participated in administration, teaching, and research for 32 years. In the past, he has served as a public member of the California Coastal Commission and the Committee of Bar Examiners. He now represents the public on the State Board of Food and Agriculture and the Court Reporters Board. In addition, he has served as a reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Office for over 26 years. Dr. Hisserich earned his masters and doctorate degrees in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles and a bachelor degree in Government from California State University, Los Angeles.
